26 weeks, and a discount code

I think I’ve mentioned before me goal for running during this pregnancy is to make it to 30 weeks. I’m less than 4 weeks out from that goal. I’m going to try not to do a week by week break down on the pregnancy because it seems to make it last forever….
But this is my last week in the 2nd trimester. I can already feel my nose growing and my feet starting to swell. The last three months of pregnancy are not pretty for me.
No matter what I eat or try to watch my weight I will still gain at least 30lbs. (I gained 50 with the twins). Genetics I guess.
I still managed to get 7 miles in today, and my run went a lot better than last weeks. My first couple miles were still 10 minute miles, but the last few were around 9 minutes miles. Here’s a couple of pics:

24 weeks…still running

I’m so excited that I am still running at this point. I don’t even care how slow I am, I just want to be able to run. My goal is to run until 30 weeks at least! I’m almost 25 weeks, and so so close to that goal. I fill as though it will be so much easier to bounce back after this baby. My last couple of runs have been 5 to 6 miles. I end usually with an average of 9 min. miles. It takes me a lot longer to get warmed up, and by the end I’m running anywhere from and 8 to 8 1/2 min. mile. I’m careful not to push to hard.

Here is a belly shot at 24 weeks, this is the biggest I’ve ever been (with a singleton that is).

5 miles in about 43 minutes! Not to bad considering, I was kicking other people butts at the gym!

I have so much I want to blog about and so little time, one of my major goals this year is to get organized. I waste so much time, and I’m the biggest procrastinator. I always manage to get stuff done, but it’s always last-minute. So let’s see if I can keep up this year!!

20 Weeks and a new circuit workout

Technically I’m almost 22 weeks now but here is my 20 week belly:

I’m so excited to be over half way through with this pregnancy, I don’t have really difficult pregnancies I just hate being pregnant. I’m a big whiner I know!;) I cannot run as hard or fast as I like but I’m grateful to still be running, and I feel the longer I run the easier the comeback will be after.

I have to modify a lot of workout moves, but I’m just happy to still be moving. Here is what we did today:

8 minute warm up jog

Pyramid sprints to 8

Speed ladder Drills

Partner Plank jumps

and lastly a 20 minute circuit with these moves:

Squat to overhead press

Heisman over cones

Push ups

Hammer curls

Jumping lunge through Speed ladder

Reverse lunge with weights

Wall sit

Heal Tap

Plank tap on step

Do each station for 1 minute before moving on to the next move. Repeat one more time. (We only took about a 5 to 10 second break between each move.)

Here is a fun look back at my growing twin belly. I can’t tell much of a difference when comparing this belly to my twin belly at 20 weeks.
